ABOUT Fermin
Fermin Resines de la Garza is an Art Director and Designer based in Vancouver BC. Raised in the north of Mexico on a diet of American cartoons and chocolate milk, he grew addicted to the highs of sugar and telling a good story.
Through hard work and a constant ambition to learn, Fermin has earned many hats: Art Director, Matte Painting Supervisor, Art Director’s Assistant, Senior Designer, Senior Matte Painter, Freelance Comic Artist, etc.
Fermin studied Digital Art and Animation at ITESM where he received first hand experience with the software and techniques of each step of the animation pipeline, knowledge he now uses to effectively collaborate with supervisors and artist of each department on his team. Fermin also specialized in Concept Art for Animation at VFS.
